Watching scientists at work – for example in a laboratory – can be very helpful to bring the significance of basic research closer to a layperson.

After PD Dr. Tonio Ball and Prof. Dr. Thomas Stieglitz from the cluster of excellence had already been featured in the program WDR Quarks & Co, there now was a report about Prof. Dr. Carola Haas and her Epilepsy Research at the Universitätsklinikum in 3Sat Nano:
