...Embodied Technologies, Restored Movements: Freiburg Symposium on Implications of Neurotechnological Interventions

Principal investigator PD Dr. Oliver Müller is hosting a symposium on philosophical and ethical implications of neurotechnologies in Freiburg on Jan 20/21, 2017.

The aim of this conference is to shed light on the specificity of medical interventions in the human brain, such as Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). Together with international guest speakers, including Gernot Böhme and Shaun Gallagher, participants will be able to explore the respective ethical implications against the background of phenomenological approaches to human self-understanding.
