Summer Exchange Program 2017

Call for applications for US-German student exchange program is open...

Cluster of Excellence BrainLinks-BrainTools and its strategic partner, the Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering (CSNE) in Seattle, USA, are calling for applicants for their student exchange program in summer 2017.

In order to strengthen US-German cooperation, both institutions are pushing forward the process of mutual learning through practical experience – in management as well as on the research level. Aligned with the mission of NSF and DFG to promote young researchers, one goal is to give students the chance of gaining abroad research experience while still pursuing their degree at home. As an exchange student they can learn and apply new techniques, not to mention collaborations with other investigators which often remain useful in latter stages of their career.

In addition to working and studying at the CSNE, there are also limited places available at CSNE’s core partners University of Washington, San Diego State University, and the MIT.

You can find experience reports from last year's exchange program on the CSNE Blog and on BrainLinks-BrainTools' Reaching Out Blog.
