Since 2014 the cluster offers an exchange program with the CSNE in Seattle. Early career researchers who are member of the BrainLinks-BrainTools graduate program can stay in a host lab at the CSNE over the summer up to a duration of 10 weeks to collect research experiences abroad. At the same time young people from the CSNE will stay within BrainLinks-BrainTools research groups in Freiburg and hopefully enjoy summer in the beautiful south of Germany.
"It was definitely a great experience, which is still yield good outcomes" said the latest exchange candidate Sebastián Castaño, who is working in Freiburg with the Brain State Decoding Lab and who was visiting our colleagues in Seattle 2017.
