In collaboration with the research center IMBIT//BrainLinks-BrainTools in Freiburg, Fraunhofer IPM organizes a workshop on December 12th and 13th 2023 on the use of optically pumped magnetometers (OPM) for magnetoencephalography (MEG). The spark for this event is the 2023 Carl-Zeiss-Humboldt Research Award which was granted to Prof. Svenja Knappe.
This workshop will bring speakers from the fields of biomagnetism and neuroscience together, providing a platform to assess the impact of Optically Pumped Magnetometers (OPMs) on non-invasive imaging of brain magnetic fields. During the workshop, experts will deliver talks focused on exploring future directions and addressing open challenges in this field of research.
The 2023 Carl-Zeiss-Humboldt Research Award (https://www.humboldt-foundation.de/en/explore/newsroom/news/2023-carl-zeiss-humboldt-research-award ) has been awarded to the esteemed scientist and co-founder of FieldLine Inc, Prof. Svenja Knappe, in recognition of her groundbreaking contributions to the field. To commemorate this significant accomplishment, a public lecture will be held in the evening on December 11, 2023, in Freiburg.
Further details, including the complete program and registration information, will be shared with you in the coming weeks.
