After having visited F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in February, the kite-mentoring program had the opportunity to visit another pharmaceutical company in Basel in May: NOVARTIS.
There, the participants were welcomed and, after a short introduction, a presentation was held to introduce the company to its visitors. And in the end of the presentation, the mentees had the opportunity to ask questions.
Then, an informative film titled "Biotechnology Center, Huningue" was screened.
After a guided tour of the Novartis Campus, it was already time for a lunch break. In the Osteria Dodici the participants were given the opportunity to network while enjoying Italian food, before it was time for the next items on the agenda: Laboratory visits and production facilities. In groups of 8 to 10 persons, the participants gained insights into the working environment at NOVARTIS.
