BrainLinks-BrainTools is offering a Welcome Back Fellowship for persons who had a break in their research career due to family commitments.
Being away from academia for several years these candidates are no longer sufficiently qualified in current methodology and feel reluctant to apply for positions, considering themselves as “out” of their fields. The goal of this fellowship is to train these candidates in the latest scientific techniques so as to re-integrate them into work life.
Candidates will profit from the excellent research environment of the cluster and can get back to speed easily. To adjust these benefits to their individual life conditions, they can choose different time models: e.g. For one year working in full-time or for two years working half-time. Currently there are three fellows receiving this fellowship.
