This year ten guests from very different fields of work and companies were invited to meet our early career researcher: With a background in biology, a business and analytics manager from Janssen-Cilag GmbH and a study coordinator from the University of Freiburg joined the event. Two computer scientists, a software engineer from Google and a senior researcher from KUKA Deutschland GmbH, also participated. Fitting to the scope of BrainLinks-BrainTools, several guests from biomedical and biochemical companies were invited: A founder and chief scientific officer of the start-up company SPINDIAG GmbH, a founder and CTO of Vibrosonic GmbH, a research engineer from em-tec GmbH and the CTO of OSYPKA AG. Besides that, a programme officer from the DFG joined the evening as well as a professor from the DHBW Lörrach.
During the dinner, the junior scientists got the chance to explore career opportunities and perspectives in a relaxed atmosphere with the guests. It was again a very successful evening with only positive feedback from guests and participants.
