The IEEE Robotics and Automation Technical Field Award 2022 goes to Prof. Wolfram Burgard. The IEEE's highest technical award for members of the Robotics & Automation Society will be presented to him for his contributions to the fundamentals and applications of robot navigation and perception at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), to be held May 23-27, 2022, in Philadelphia.
