Summary
The establishment of holographic stimulation by means of a 2-photon microscope is technically extremely sophisticated. Worldwide this has so far only been realized a few times. We would like to use this technique to initially measure neuronal activities while the animal is moving in a virtual environment (Hainmueller & Bartos, 2018), back into the brain. Readout will determine the behavior of the animal as well as theactivity of the surrounding neurons (Marshel et al. 2019).
