Goals: The participants get to know what they can do with a PhD, what are the job opportunities for female scientists. The workshop will provide an overview about different career opportunities in public and private sectors. We will discuss the requirements and conditions in general as well as for working moms. The participants will learn how to read job advertisements and how to prepare themselves for the application procedure. Moreover, the candidates are provided with information about women’s networks and how to derive personal advantage from them.
Another topic will be correct positioning in competition with men and how to negotiate salary packages.
