The proportion of women in leadership positions drops dramatically as we look up the hierarchies, a phenomenon known as the “leaky pipeline”. The perception of female leaders changes in our societies, however women in prominent roles still face specific obstacles. This leadership skills training will address the challenges of this target group.

Objectives

- Your leadership style. How you can use situative leadership to adapt to your co-workers, the situation and the daily business?
- Gender-specific communication.
- Imitation, assimilation, being “stubborn” or something completely different? How to find your place in a male-dominated environment.
- Conflicts. The three phases prevention, deescalation (resolution) and escalation. Resolving conflicts using negotiation techniques and why women have excellent skills to excel in this “male” discipline.
- Use negotiation techniques for your salary negotiations and for and your team.
- Hire, select and retain your team. How to use adaptive communication and switch off unconscious biases, in order to gather the very best around you and not just clones of yourself.
- Learn about the importance of strategic networking and how to use it effectively.
- Work-life balance: do you have to attempt it? How to strike a balance between yourself, your employer, your partner and your family.
