Early career researchers met at Schloss Ortenberg

On February 19-21, the BrainLinks-BrainTools early career researchers gathered for a workshop at the "Schloss Ortenberg". It was three days of lively discussions, great talks and hands-on programming exercises. As in the years before, a variety of topics were presented, from Optophysiology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Basic Biology over to Machine Learning and the implementation of tests into python code. The talks and seminar sessions were held deliberately basic, to give each participant the opportunity to also join into conversations on topics outside their specific area of research. On top of that, the young scientists continued their joint sports activities and took the opportunity to do some ice skating.
