Writer Annette Pehnt tells a story about her experiences as artist in residence at BrainLinks-BrainTools

At the interface between Art and Science, BrainLinks-BrainTools project Reaching Out is experimenting with novel event formats, for which it usually collaborates with artists on the basis of an artist in residence-program. Writer Annette Pehnt was such a partner: She had a look around the labs of BrainLinks-BrainTools, talked to neuroscientists, computer scientists and philosophers and kept hold of her observations with literary means. On February 1, 2017, at 20.00 she will present the result in a reading at the Literaturbüro Freiburg. Afterwards she discusses the meaning of narration for artistic and scientific writing with the PI of Reaching Out, PD Dr. Oliver Müller, as well as with guest from literary studies and neuroscientific research.
